Add Symbols, Text and Logos on your SolidWorks parts

Type3Works add-in brings in two user-friendly
and powerful main functions - 'Text Mode' and 'Vectorization'.
With the first function, the text (also
symbols) can be written in two different ways:
free text, or, text on a curve. The text can be
fully parameterized; you can choose any of the Windows
True Type fonts. You will also be able to parameterize
the height or width, the slanting and the spacing of
characters. The function "Writing from right
to left" can be of great interest for some languages,
like Arabic for instance. It can also be reedited
before or after extrusion.

Vectorization
can be carried out following two methods: the file
can be scanned or imported. You can plug in
a Twain compatible scanner on your PC and proceed
with Vectorization of black and white, or colour
artworks. The colours of the image can also
be reduced. The options can be totally customise.
The configuration of the colour reduction can also
be modified by the user: sensibility for control
erasing or, for fusioning areas, suppression of
anti-aliasing or noise. In the Type3Works
menu, the Vectorization parameters - allowance,
noise, filtering, and smoothing - can be intuitively
modified. |

Developed from the native Type3 software, Type3Works
also links TypeEdit & SolidWorks through the
Copy and Paste functions.

Day Trial Version).
Download, save and install Type3Works. After the
installation on your hard drive, go into Solidworks
and the add-in section. Find the Type3works link
and validate it. Click on one of the new icons
displayed. You will then be presented with a form
that you will have to complete fully and return
to: sales@ntcadcam.co.uk.
