Case Study - Klippsafe

After years of innovating structural fasteners for the construction industry, including inventing the Hollo-Bolt product, now synonymous with tubular steel structural design, my own surname, “Klippel”, or more specifically my industry nick-name ‘Klipps’ ultimately became an established brand! Demand has been such that I now run my own leading fastener design company Klippsafe Ltd.

My first and essential start-up purchase was a 3D computer-aided design package. This was obviously a vital working tool for

my company, because getting a design wrong, in any way, could cause months of frustration and real hardship through loss of earnings.
