| Eurobend have been at the forefront of special purpose machine design for over a decade. They supply clients in the automotive, petrochemical and shipbuilding industries. They have a range of standard machines which meet the needs of most customers but also offer bespoke machines at the customer's request. Their consistently high standards have earned them an ISO 9001 accreditation.
They wanted to move to an affordable 3D CAD system that would give them the tools to continue and improve on their high standards. They also wanted to be able to transfer their AutoCAD data rather than start all over again.
SolidWorks has given them one system for all their design needs. It has allowed then to improve the accuracy of their designs and thus allowed them to improve relations with customers.

As well as all of the benefits of moving to a 3D package they especially liked SolidWorks parts listings in assemblies. Also the ability to section and balloon an assembly has reduced the error margin dramatically.
