3D Next Engine
|
| UNLEASH
YOUR CREATIVITY. Take physical samples and bring them into
SolidWorks as accurate, high-res 3D reference models. Quickly,
simply, and right at your desk. New technology from NextEngine
makes this possible, and at a cost that’s easily affordable
for every Design Engineer. Take organic free-form prototypes and
bring them into CAD without the time and hassle of hand-measuring
or estimating complex shapes. Scan detailed third party parts and
build your designs to match. Imagine the creative possibilities
when you can scan 3D media whenever and wherever you want. Think
“racing fuel” for your design process. |
|
UNRIVALED INTEGRATION. Now, for the first time, this power is
tightly integrated inside your favorite design platform –
SolidWorks. SolidWorks and NextEngine have jointly developed
new native file formats that let you take scanned models directly
into SolidWorks. Native means: precise, efficient, and no transfer
or conversion hassles. Powerful new tools inside SolidWorks 2007
Office Premium® let you work with point cloud and meshed input
data to create your finished product design. And you’ll
only find this level of integration with SolidWorks + NextEngine.
