engineering, the successful applicant will be required to learn SolidWorks 3D design software and a number of
associated products to a professional level. You must already have experience of using SolidWorks in a design
environment and knowledge of IT infrastructure would be a distinct advantage. You will be providing training,
support and consultancy to engineering companies throughout the UK so excellent communication and troubleshooting
skills and the ability to follow through are essential. You will be based at our Knutsford office but will be
required to carry out training at any of our UK training centres so a willingness to travel is essential.

Role: Pre Sales Application Engineer
Description: Provide comprehensive Pre Sales Technical Support for SolidWorks and its partner products including demonstrations, product positioning, and competitive overviews.
Main emphasis of this role is to provide the sales team with technical assistance during the sales cycle and build a strong long-term business relationship with customers. This will involve preparing and delivering product presentations to prospects and existing customers both at the end user and senior management level.
Candidates should be self-motivated, able work on his/her own (independently against set goals) and must have excellent customer facing skills with the ability to conduct meetings with senior management and deliver seminars. You should have excellent communications both oral and written.
It is important you have a comprehensive knowledge of SolidWorks (or similar) and the CAD Industry, strong customer facing skills, and the ability to present confidently. Experience with Data Management and Finite Element Analysis solutions would also be an advantage but not essential.

Role: Analysis consultant
Description: The analysis consultant’s role is very varied, covering support, training and consultancy in Finite element Analysis and CFD The key responsibilities include:
- Consultancy projects using SolidWorks analysis tools COSMOSWorks and FloWorks and high level codes such as Abaqus
- Methods development studies for customers, driving the model development and correlation process, working with test data ass well as analysis software
- Delivering training courses on analysis software
- High end analysis support for end users and NT CADCAM’s support engineers
- Delivering reports and presentations on work carried out
This is an ideal role for someone who has had some experience in Finite Element Analysis or CFD who wishes to make a name for themselves in this field of expertise.
